CONCERT NOTE
Ice Reflection, the third quartet in the sequence, is a study of light. This here emerges from the swift but quiet flute-like sonorities created by the cello. Deep within the quasi-spectral detail in this work it’s possible to detect fleeting, unexpected moments of lyricism: it might be useful to quote the notes:
