Dopp is composed following a colourful idea, as if the guitar traveled between all the voices of an orchestra. The two guitars create textures, sounds, harmonies and rhythms, but above all I am interested in the emergence of a multiple palette of shapes and colours. It depends on the interpreters the balance between the noise and the harmony, and between the harmonics and the notes in fortissimo that appear in the score: it is this exploration that I find fundamental in this work. With a rather contemplative style, these textures change constantly; I imagine a sonorous metamorphosis suspended between two very thin pillars, almost on the verge of falling.

Dopp esta compuesta con un pensamiento colorista, como si la guitarra viajara entre todas las voces de una orquesta. Las dos guitarras crean texturas, ruidos, armonías y ritmos, pero sobre todo me interesa que nazca una paleta multiple de formas y colores. Depende de los interpretes el balance entre el ruido y la armonía, entre los armónicos y las notas en fortissimo que aparecen en la partitura: es esta exploración que encuentro fundamental en la obra. Con un estilo más bien contemplativo, estas texturas cambian constantemente; imagino una metamorfosis sonora suspendida entre dos pilares muy finos, casi a punto de caer.
