CONCERT NOTE
ENGLISH
In this piece I try to focus on the harmonic spectrum of the saxophone, supported by the timbric gestures of the piano and the percussion. I’m also interested in developing a spatialization of the micro-activity in the electronic layer, which is a synthesis of the instrumental sounds. The rhythmic character of the piece emerges from the mixture of multiple elements contained in the electronic transformation. Antecedente X has won the 1stcomposition prize at the Julián Carrillo contest (arts and sciences prizes, S.L.P., México, 2006).
FRANÇAIS
La quête sur un jeu multiple du spectre harmonique du saxophone, ainsi qu’une synthèse de cette sonorité par le piano et la percussion, définie l’idée centrale de cette pièce. C’est donc une vision « spatialisée » du détail du son ce qui m’intéresse de développer. Dans la conception de l’œuvre, j’ai travaillé les individualités pour qu’elles soient perceptibles, mais aussi, j’ai voulu construire une multiplicité où les individualités se perdent dans une « texture » sonore à plusieurs niveaux. Antecedente X a reçu le premier prix dans le concours de composition Julián Carrillo (prix des sciences et des arts, S.L.P., Mexico, 2006).

Die Suche nach der Unbestimmtheit des harmonischen Spektrums des Saxophons und der Synthese dieser Klänge durch das Klavier und das Schlagzeug definieren die zentrale Idee dieses Stückes. Es interessiert mich vor allem die Ausarbeitung der Idee der Verräumlichung des Klanglichen. Im Aufbau des Werkes sind die Einzelheiten in einer Vielzahl wahrnehmbar; auf der anderen Seite hört man eine Vielzahl in der sich die Einzelheiten in der textuellen und klanglichen Gleichförmigkeit verlieren. Antecedente X erhielt den 1. Preis des Julián Carillo Kompositionswettbewerbs (Preis der Wissenschaften und Künste, S.L.P., Mexiko, 2006).
